DeparturePlan is a platform helping people plan for life's transitions. The founder was juggling a demanding new job and didn't have time to fuss with the website himself, so he handed us the reins to get it published. He gave us a simplified page list, trusted us with design decisions, and we got it live. We've maintained the site and its automations ever since.
The challeges we overcame
The client had a vision and content but zero bandwidth to manage the process. He simplified the scope himself, gave us creative freedom, and just needed us to get it across the finish line without adding more to his plate.
What we did to make it better
We finalized the site with a streamlined set of pages based on the client's simplified scope, made design decisions where needed, and launched. We also built a Zapier automation for email form submissions that logs to Google Sheets.
